Gambling with Crist

Because he will hold them and very good at folding and leaving the state as Governor.

With many wary of his plan to expand gambling in Florida to generate more money for the state's budget and memory's of the promotion of the lotto suppose to beef up the funding already on hand for the states school system. The nagging questions is where did the money go it was suppose to beef up?

With the lotto sales growing in the state how is the school system now so deeply in the red?

Crist didn't make his pitch directly to the Riverside Elementary Community School teachers or students. He made it to a troop of television cameras.

Back in South Florida, the school's principal, Sharon López, said she didn't know the governor was coming to talk about gambling -- only that he wanted to see the school.

''It will put more money into education for this hard-working principal and, more importantly than that, for the children " Again a review of past issues Straight, Inc,

You no the one the X Govenor was on the board to Review here 3rd artical from the top.

"He said when the federal stimulus money runs out in two years, ``when we want the gambling revenue, we'd end up with squat.''

To my way of thinking the funding there was is now gone. Again where did it go?

The biggest endorsement on campus for Crist's proposal came from the president of the United Teachers of Dade, Karen Aronowitz, who has been battling for teacher raises for months. ''I'm for anything that will enhance revenue for education,'' she said.

2009 Legislative Lobbyist by Principal

Crist's pitch recalled the 2003 campaign by slot-machine proponents, who used school funding as a selling point for a constitutional amendment paving the way for gambling referendums in Miami-Dade and Broward.

And my last point to be made was it not Governor Crist that had the stand to lower propert taxs?

Not only did that not happen but now it seems hes trying to pass the buck about raising them .

"Death Panels"

Did you see his face when the panel dropped??

Sarah Palin, embracing the fanatical, loony conspiracy theory that Pres. Obama is organizing "death panels" to come to kill her infant son.

Well on first reaction to this tiny bit of wisdom .

Was it not than Governor Plain that said the evil reporters and bloggers involving her family in politics and they are off limits.

Except for photo ops of course.
But she came out on stage with flashes from cameras that her daughter was with child out of wedlock . Showing just saying no still working for all other teens.

Proudly stating her son enlisting in the service and going to war . I guess going by bus.
One based on lies and scare tactics maybe facing killing someone aka you no life.

Which being pro life shows the narrow view of life shes promoting

Than followed by this news.

By now, most of us have heard Sarah Palin's "death panel" comment on her Facebook page.

But what we may not know is that, during her tenure as governor, an important program for in-home elder care became an actual "death panel" for over 250 vulnerable Alaskans.

The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s "death panel" so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their "level of productivity in society," whether they are worthy of health care.

Such a system is downright evil.

But as the Anchorage Daily News reported this last July, the situation in the state's Medicare- and Medicaid-funded in-home elder care program became so bad that the federal government had to step in and force Alaska to make necessary improvements.

In one 2 1/2 year stretch, 227 adults already getting services died while waiting for a nurse to reassess their needs. Another 27 died waiting for their initial assessment, to see if they qualified for help.

The feds had been tipped off to the systemic problems by doctors and other health care providers, who found the state unresponsive when confronted with their incompetence.

No other state faced comparable problems.

This follows the additional info ops no updates

Than to wrap up theres this GOP senator behind Palin's "death panels"

U.S. Rep. Virginia Fox (R-N.C.) also recently accused the Democrats' health care reform plan of putting seniors "to death."

But there is nothing resembling the alleged "death panel" in the health care reform plan.

A spokesperson for Palin told ABC News that the former governor was referring to a section promoting advance care planning that appears on page 425 of the House Democrats' bill

Advance care planning includes living wills and durable powers of attorney that allow individuals to make clear their wishes for end-of-life care, whatever they may be.And as it turns out, the cause of advance planning has been championed especially strongly by a pro-life Republican -- U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson of Georgia.Isakson (photo above) is a member of Senate Health committee that played a key role in shaping the health care reform legislation.

He successfully offered an amendment in committee that allows funds for a government-funded program that provides in-home services to people with disabilities to be used for advance care planning, according to the national Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.

Isakson has been promoting advance care planning for years.

In 2007, for example, he co-sponsored two bills to encourage such planning -- the Medicare End-of-Life Care Planning Actand the Advance Planning and Compassionate Care Act.

In 2005, Isakson joined with state lawmakers to publicly sign a personal "Directive for Final Health Care" to encourage Georgians to discuss their personal wishes for end-of-life care.

He cited the controversial case of Terry Schiavo -- a Florida woman who lived for several years in a persistent vegetative state before her husband had her disconnected from a feeding tube -- to illustrate the importance of advance planning.

"I believe it is every person's right and responsibility to make sure their loved ones are prepared to make decisions on their behalf by discussing and documenting their wishes," Isakson said at the time.

"It is my sincere hope that all Georgians will join me in following the lead of the Georgia General Assembly's Resolution and make their final wishes known."Isakson is a pro-life politician who opposes abortion as well as stem cell research entailing the destruction of human embryos.

But all right with the life's of vets being killed in war based on lies.

So far Isakson has remained silent publicly on the "death panel" brouhaha. Facing South called his press office for comment today but no one was available.

Meanwhile, another prominent Georgia Republican has rushed to Palin's defense: Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich told ABC's "This Week" that people are being asked "to trust turning power over to the government

when there are clearly people in America who believe in establishing euthanasia, including selective standards."

But other at least one Georgia politician has tried to distance himself from Palin, with Congressman Jack Kingston (R-Ga.) telling Bill Maher that her "death panel" allegation was "a scare tactic."

Related posting here G.O.P. Principles

That like Bush using Fox Net work reporting they had indeed found weapons of mass distruction as "scare tactic"

On Fox News Channel (3/23/03), the headline banners were already rolling: "HUGE CHEMICAL WEAPONS FACTORY FOUND IN SO IRAQ.... REPORTS: 30 IRAQIS SURRENDER AT CHEM WEAPONS PLANT.... COAL TROOPS HOLDING IRAQI IN CHARGE OF CHEM WEAPONS." The Jerusalem Post, whose embedded reporter helped break the story along with a Fox correspondent, announced in a front-page headline (3/24/03), "U.S. Troops Capture First Chemical Plant."

So went the weapons hunt. On numerous occasions, the discovery of a stash of illegal Iraqi arms was loudly announced--often accompanied by an orgy of triumphalist off-the-cuff punditry--only to be deflated inconspicuously, and in a lower tone of voice, until the next false alarm was sounded.

In one episode, embedded NPR reporter John Burnett (4/7/03) recounted the big news he'd learned from a "top military official": "the first solid confirmed existence of chemical weapons by the Iraqi army." According to Burnett, an army unit near Baghdad had discovered "20 BM-21 medium-range rockets with warheads containing sarin nerve gas and mustard gas."

True believersSome of the more gung-ho media weren't discouraged at all by the constant false alarms.

According to Rush Limbaugh's website (4/7/03), "

We're discovering WMDs all over Iraq.... You know it killed NPR to report that the 101st Airborne found a stockpile of up to 20 rockets tipped with sarin and mustard gas....

Our troops have found dozens of barrels of chemicals in an agricultural facility 30 miles northwest of Baghdad."

"The discovery of these weapons of mass destruction doesn't surprise me," Limbaugh explained on his radio show (4/7/03).

"The only part of it that surprises me is that we discovered them in Iraq."

If U.S. forces were to look in Syria, he proposed, they would probably find an additional "huge cache" of smuggled weaponry.

They only thing that surprises me that Fox news and Rush Limbaugh still aloud to broad cast. But I guess Huckabee working for Fox net work handles that part. Other here

On April 11, a Fox News report, still posted to the network's website as late as July, announced: "Weapons-Grade Plutonium Possibly Found at Iraqi Nuke Complex."

Sourced to an embedded reporter from the right-wing Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the story was soon debunked by U.S. officials (AP, 4/15/03).

Fox didn't mention that the "massive" underground facility "discovered" beneath a military compound had actually been subject to continuous on-site U.N. monitoring for years.

Instead, the network featured a soundbite from "former Iraqi scientist" George Gazi, who declared: "I think this demonstrates the failure of the U.N. weapons inspections and demonstrates that our guys are going to find the weapons of mass destruction."

The Next Generation G.O.P

The next generation G.O.P. Aboard the Star ship USS Lame Duck under the lack of leadership of Capt. Crist Gay .

Its Mission to boldly go where other dishonest politicians have gone before. Its first mission to board the space station Everglades and kill a nest of evil space Pythons who have taken over. And getting as many photo ops as possible.

All the while collecting the gold bars left there by those fearing the space storm .

Always mindful of the staying out of the watching public eye. This mission Capt Crist has his hands full.

Midshipman Jindal just wants to blow it up and start over.

First class Sandford recently demoted for firing his weapon at another bush just wants to go on shore leave and go hiking. Doesn't really seem to no where he's at.

Council Palin don't think we need to ware protection from the evil space pythons. Just tell them no. She can watch them from her quarters.

Will not follow me to the station & has left her post early.

Weapons officer McCain's only remark is those dam Klingon Pythons will never trust them and would have rather taken the straight express transport.

Help Capt. Crist Gay in his lack of leaderships first mission.

First Entry Log

Star Date 2009/07

Capt. Crist Gay commanding

Repairs on the USS Lame Duck progressing we are leaking oil from our landing shuttle Gulf transport about 58,000 gallons as debate continues on reducing the USS. Lame Duck orbiting to the Space station Everglade.

I have to avoid"defining the allowable distance from the station. "I've always said it needs to be far enough, clean enough and safe enough to protect the space station. To date we have only caught 4 of the evil space pythons.

Moral low the conduct of first class Sandford of firing his weapon at another Klingon is spreading and expanded the Q got pictures of Ensign Stanley of firing his phaser at an young Klingon and tried to black mail him .

Did not read before signing order for movie for the crew This has only spread hate & fighting among the crew.

Entry Log 2

Star Date 2009/08 /02

Capt. Crist Gay commanding

Well sort of.

Council Palin made her first speech since quiting her post.

Speaking on the rights of bearing phasers but not sure how Weapons officer McCain's repeated remark those Klingon's just shoot them all went over.

Very afraid those of the crew like First class Sandford & Ensign Stanley will mis understand using their phasers to make those bear.

Uneasy her speech will draw attention to other actions I took just saying no.

Repairs on board the Lame Duck are not complete still leaking large amounts of oil and drafting toward space station Everglade.

Start Date 2009/08/04

Capt Crist Gay commanding

Or at least till I get promoted off the U.S.S Lame Duck

In keeping of the prime directive of the next generation G.O.P not to get caught interfering with any of the voters of any planet.

Our team created a forgery of Birth certificate for our new leader in hopes of getting him thrown out and one of our party G.O.Ps installed .

The attempted failed and has been on un-covered.

We need to find away to keep things censured.

Repairs on the Lame Duck still not completed which will bring up how to disprove it was us so not to pay for the space clean up.

Charlie & Ubele at the Movies

Did Neo-Nazis and Florida Gov. Charlie Crist share a love of movie or just an bag of pop corn??

You know could not help but wonder if old Charle gave this movie two thumbs up besides saying thank you or just happy the next movie was not Inoconda???

We all no how snakes don't hunt their own.

Several weeks ago, John Ubele -- the operations manager of the white supremacist Nationalist Coalition -- sent some Florida public officials a copy of the DVD "Jud Süß," a 1940 German film about a sneaky Jew who tricks an 18th century Duke into giving him control of his kingdom.

According to Wikipedia, the movie was made by the notoriously anti-Semetic German director Veit Harlan under the direction of the Nazi Party's chief propagandist Joseph Goebbels.

According to the nazi blog White Reference, several copies of this movie were sent to various public officials throughout Florida. Nice gesture, especially considering most hate groups prefer to send threats.

But the interesting part of this story is Ubele -- who has run for Florida public office himself -- received a thank-you letter from none other than our governor:

In the letter, Crist (or presumably an aide) thanks Ubele for sending the film "on behalf of myself and the people of Florida."

He repeats an appreciation of "thoughtfulness" and offers to share the film with "the people of Florida."Well, the cold hearts at the White Reference blog were thoroughly warmed, if cautiously:

At this point, there is no need to over-interpret Governor Crist's reaction. It could be that he is simply a buff of old movies and that he finds this movie enjoyable. Eventually, he could find this movie educational as well.

Maybe he thinks its worth the time to watch it. And should be made part of the character first program with Bill Gothard in all schools across the state in Fl..

"Tamar was partially at fault for being raped, because she wasn’t spiritually alert and didn’t cry out "— Bill Gothard

Interesting point here is Palins view of charging for rape kits and view of abortions not even right in cases of rape. I'm sure they where crying out loudly.

"Wives who work outside the home are to be compared to harlots" — Bill Gothard

Oh Oh I guess this maybe reason Palin quit her office office and the state of Alska early. Only time will tell on this one.

The obedience to authority component is one which has led to some problems, such as a sex scandal within Gothard's organization.

Did not help Sandford or Ensign either I see or the family at C street.

John Ubele: another scary political candidate

Another interesting bit of info is this item
Neo-Nazis Plan to Recruit at July 4 Tea Parties

White supremacists and anti-Semites are planning to exploit Tea Parties to disseminate their hateful views and recruit a larger following.

Don Black, well-known throughout the white supremacist and anti-Semitic community, both for his role as the founder and operator of Stormfront, and for his appearances and speeches at racist and anti-Semitic gatherings.
John Ubele, the Florida-based Operations Manager for the neo-Nazi Nationalist Coalition. A former member of the neo-Nazi National Alliance, Ubele was also a founding member of the Sons of Liberty Committee, a group whose stated goal was for "the interests of European Americans…to reign supreme in all deliberations and actions of our government." Ubele also

Hosted "Radio with John Ubele," a weekly radio program hosted on Stormfront.

Based in Florida, Black is a former Grand Dragon in the Ku Klux Klan who served prison time for plotting to invade the Caribbean island of Dominica and overthrow its government.

An little more back ground here

Black, who lives in West Palm Beach just a few miles from the Fanjuls' Palm Beach mansion, also works as an "executive assistant" in the executive suite of Florida Crystals, where the Fanjul clan's sugar conglomerate is headquartered.

Maybe this is why Crist interest in the sugar deal???

But Don Black — who lives and operates Stormfront out of a house owned entirely by Chloe and valued at about half a million dollars — is apparently unemployed, although he claims to do some Internet consulting work.

He solicits contributions to the Stormfront site, but says he draws no salary from the operation and has, according to an official Stormfront posting, "financed much of Stormfront's growth out of pocket, personally."

The website is believed to be at least partly supported by the salary that Florida Crystals pays Chloe Black.

The Fanjul family long dominated the sugar industry in Cuba, but fled after the 1959 revolution in that Caribbean nation and rebuilt their business in Palm Beach County. Today, four brothers — Jose, Alfonso, Andres and Alexander — run the family firm, Flo-Sun, from the same building where Chloe Black works.

The raw sugar producer has more than 400,000 acres of cane in Florida and the Dominican Republic and some 25,000 employees in subsidiaries including Florida Crystals, C&H, and Domino, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Charlie Crist's Office Accidentally Thanks Sender for Anti-Semitic ...HULIQ - Hickory,NC,USAThat's apparently what happened in this case, where a "thank you" letter bearing the signature of Florida governor Charlie Crist praising a anti-semitic ...
http://www.huliq.com/3257/84051/charlie-crists-office-accidentally-thanks-sender-anti-semitic-film

After 20 years in the service one thing that was drilled into you is attention to detail.

Being that Mr. Crist wants to leave his postion as Govenor. Which last time I checked was in the red & no jobs.

No money for schools through out the state where he wants to promote gambling.

Humm if letter was mistake with his signature I guess he did not read it.
Or someone signed his name to it staff maybe . So one could expect charges to be filed within the next week.

And having automated signatures isn’t uncommon for government officials. UCF’s administration even utilizes copies of signatures on letters to students. but not to read what his signature is going on another issue,

"What makes this event harmful is that there are people working for Crist who allowed this incident to happen in the first place. "

"It also appears a little too convenient that Ubele, who unsuccessfully ran for a state representative position in Pasco County in 2008, would send the film at a time when it is well known that the governor is trying to get the Senate position."

"Even without the suspicious timing or Crist’s actual involvement, it’s clear that Crist thinks that his staff made an “inexcusable mistake” in sending the letter to Ubele."

"Still, if Crist is having trouble controlling his staff now, it makes one wonder what he may lose control of if he becomes a Senator. "

If just over sight is this what the voters of Fl. want reading bills that go before him??? No control of hgis staff, Singning and not readin a bill.

Some Snakes never Shed their Skin

Some Snakes never Shed their Skin

Or miss the chance in an up coming election year for photo op or present them self with cape flying around doing good. In this case the image of speedos , rainbow colored Hawaii shirt and fake tan is an image I could do with out.

'Python posse' set to hunt Florida snakes. Is it overkill?

But with recent news of an child getting killed by an python thou very sad and up setting. Was not caused by someone letting their snake out in the wild nor what has caused the explosion of them in the Everglades.

Its some nearer and not as dear to the Governors heart. that which he would rather not have known.

Because it brings up the issue in Fl. that has bothered the state under his watch "flooding" you see an snake farm flooded and release several hundred if not more snakes into the Everglades.

Wildlife authorities believe large numbers were released in 1992 when Hurricane Andrew flattened several snake dealers in South Florida. The serpents have since multiplied and moved north and east. Others may have been released by pet owners.

Watch as in nature & politics in Fl.it seems proves two things snakes never eat their own or ever truly shade their skin.

In Crist's ability to raise many donations of large sums of cash begs the question as why he could not have fixed the flooding issues all over the state.

Which is linked to the new laws passed letting the developers out of the cost of keeping up the roads they develop.

Meaning they now could careless if homes built in flood plane area or plan for traffic in crease or other safety issues.

Those of which flooding brings bugs ,sickness, mold ,alligators "snakes other than crooked politicians like Crist in their homes.

"Even the wildlife sought dry ground at the home near Banana Street and Cranberry Avenue, as Kat Frantz spotted a snake slithering on her deck."

In like last flooding getting emerg. equipment in and those out.

"Much of the flood waters are contaminated with bacteria and viruses, and if debris is not quickly cleaned up, they can spread into your home."

With the talk of swine flu.on the increase I'm sure mosquitoes would not be an welcome sight nor mold damage to the homes either.

"She spent $80 on cleaning supplies, but couldn't clean the mold off her most prized possessions."

http://www.cfnews13.com/News/Local/2009/5/25/mica_tours_flooding_damage.html

"Both Crist and Nelson have keenly developed ears for issues that are visceral, easy to grasp and offer opportunities for quick response.

Even if the quick response is mostly symbolic. It's no surprise that they discovered the Snake Invasion Issue almost simultaneously"

"There's one way to do this: Kill the snakes," Sen. Nelson wrote the Miami Herald last week, sounding a lot like the guy in the last reels of a horror movie who at last understands the Menace We Now Face."

I guess the Menace we now face being ones like Charlie Crist will not be run out of town but try to buy his way out to an higher postion.

http://www.news-journalonline.com/NewsJournalOnline/Opinion/Columnists/Footnote/colFOOT071909.htm
" I was distressed to see the death that occurred recently,” said Crist. "
http://www.flanews.com/?p=6554

Whats not said or even wispered the snake was not from the Everglades
but gaves an reason to blame why there are some really caused by flooding.

Ok lets just do some math here to see how this adds up.

http://blogto2010.blogspot.com/2009/07/some-snakes-never-shed-their-skin.html

Heres an up date:

Nothing To Do With Arbroath: Florida launches mass python huntBy arbroath Florida's governor, Charlie Crist, last week licensed an initial group of fewer than 10 python hunters to begin trapping the snakes. Pursued by a pack of photographers, the hunters snared a 3-metre long python during their first foray ...Nothing To Do With Arbroath -

http://arbroath.blogspot.com/

Inital group of 10 python hunters note not just game trappers.
That said they caught 3 ,I wonder when Mr. Charlie going to find out the number they gave birth to will not equal the number of snakes caught.

Instead of going after big game photo ops.

Would make more sense to find some thing that it's natural enemy or release something into the population that makes them non reproductive.

At the rate he promoting an whole army would not make a dent .Not to mention it was one brought into home as over ground dog that caused the death of the little girl.

No laws or bills underway to stop that I guess would not be as good of photo op.

Than again he would have to read them before he signs and sends.

Staging captures may help fuel the fear .

"Those Were The Days"

"Those Were The Days"by 8th Degree

Those weekly meetings at C Street Place.

Boy, the way Governor Sandford played.

Scandals that wouldn't make the front page news.

Promise makers like them, keep promises they had made.

Those were the days.

Didn't need welfare in the Florida state. Even they pulled their weight.

Gee, our old dodge sure ran great.

Those were the days.

And you know who you were then, girls were girls and men were men, even old Charle could grin.

Mister, we could use a woman like Palin to see Russia again.

Voters had to be content. Four hundred dollars paid the rent.

Crooks like Bush were always bent.

Those were the days.

Take a little Sunday spin, didn’t have to watch for the flooding than.

You could have yourself a dandy day the cost of gas wouldn’t make your waste line thin.

Hair was short and skirts were long. The Congress really could have passed a law.

I guess only old Jeb knows just what went wrong.

Those Were The Days.

Palin & Crist Exercise's Unclean Spirits

The conservative media made Palin. It was the leaders of the party, the McCain campaign who tapped her for his VP slot and pushed her.

With out vetting her to late realizing the baggage she was carrying.

"She wasn't thoughtful enough. Her presentation up to the end has been scattered, illogical, manipulative and self-referential to the point of self-reverence. "I'm not wired that way," "I'm not a quitter," "I'm standing up for our values." I'm, I'm, I'm. "

Than feeding her info to attack Obama "Pals Around With Terrorists": & Rogue

The Public barely knew who she was. It was Palin her self that was screaming they would not let me talk to the public, keep me out of the media eyes and from reporters

"When former GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin looks back on the campaign, she doesn’t see the mistakes she made or the things she could have done better. She doesn’t see why over half of the electorate (including a fair number of conservatives) were appalled at the prospect of her being a gasp and thud away from the presidency. "

"She believes that as a hapless pedestrian jogging along the road to the White House, she was run over by the drive-by media:"

Promoting she could bet Obama in a foot race she must have better eye sight ably to See Russia from her back porch.

"Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) believes that the media deliberately tried to bring her down during her vice presidential run. "

"As part of an interview with Conservative filmmaker John Ziegler for his new film out this week, Palin said she believes the media made a decision that “we’re going to seek and we’re going to destroy this candidacy of Sarah Palin’s because of what it is that she represents.”

What she represents should scare not only them but the voters as well.

“Obviously something big took place in the media,” she added. It is “very frightening, I think, what the media was able to get away with, this go around.”

"Palin suggested that unbalanced media coverage posed a threat to democracy. "

No what posed a threat to democracy was Palin's than and now unbalance actions & associations.

Which are well documented by the same evil media that once was keep from her early on in her Vp run.

If Palin wants to blame the loss on anything other than her own performance, she might look to the McCain campaign itself, who first refused any press access to its unknown and unvetted VP candidate, then wisely left it to a correspondingly surly media to do the vetting. Ya think!??

Charle Crist not wanting to follow her but being the great showman & ably to collect vast amounts of money for his campaign.

But to busy to debate or fix issues of over crowded prisons or flooding faced every year with the new season of storms.

Like this issue an surprise.

I wonder how he will use her to draw voters "cash" that is and how to do it with out the evil media or have to answer questions ?

Charlie "Pullin' Palin" or Palin Pulling Charlie

To get the inside scoop lets ask the burning Bush.

Rubio has challenged Crist to a series of 10 debates, but the governor declined, saying through a spokesman on June 22 that he was too busy governing Florida. That day Crist was in Washington raising campaign money.

Bush says the reason for the Republican Party's losses in the last two elections were not because the party espoused the wrong ideas, but because, "We didn't advocate our positions well enough to win" and failed to modernize its message.

Of late they have been either resigning an tactical retreat I believe it was. Or hiking in another territory not their own.

I don't know that seems to be an modernized message to me.

He says the GOP lost on tactics -- "In terms of the mechanics of politics … the Democrats have cleaned our clock."

But, he adds, "There hasn't been any kind of restatement of the organizing principles of our philosophy. … We haven't upgraded our message.

I would take this to mean the G.O.P going to give all their Governors and Senators GPS's so others no where there at.

But being he said philosophy an word would not have suspected from him.

I will give it an stab that is the wording.

" NO COW TO SACRED TO GET SKEWERED"

Up graded message " NO MOOSE TO SACRED TO GET COOKED" "THERE BE GPS'S TO FIND YOU AND YOU TUBES TO PROVE YOU SAY IT"

If you close your eyes and listen to most Republicans, most Conservatives, the same speech could have been given in 1990."

Ok not sure which speech he's referring to, Gov.Palins , Gov. Sandford or Sen. John Ensign.

Asked why Obama is popular, Bush replies, "First of all, who cares?"

I believe I can answer that question maybe because he was voted in and is the leader of our nation.

Asked about his own political future, Bush replied, "I don't organize my life around political ambition. … Frankly I don't wake up each day assuming I'm the solution to life's problems.

Good no one would want him to think he was the answer to Fl's problems as governor.

He said other party leaders, many of them now unknowns, will be emerging, and, "I am content to be part of the larger effort that creates the fertile ground for those candidates to run."

I believe with out a shadow of doubt they are no none and have emerged and fertile but on who's ground might be another story.

But Bush says his current goal is "to achieve some degree of financial security for my family," and, "When you're talking about running for something, it requires an all-in commitment, and I don't have the luxury of doing that right now."

Humm I know of at least 3 had all out commitment but it was not to their wives and 2 that to them commitment runs out when their status fades.

The last personal financial statement Bush filed as governor showed he had a net worth of $1.4 million in 2005

There are people in Fl. with families leaving in cars I find it very hard for them to believe he has not the luxury of any thing.

Some vets who served their country to give him the right to make such @#!#$% remarks.

The tone of this interview was different. Bush suggested, for example, that Obama came into office with a "secret plan" to drastically expand government and the national debt.

That's kind of different from coming in as Gov. or President with secret plan to drastically involve this nation based on lies and cause the national debt in the first place.

To Florida political insiders, that language is reminiscent of a comment

Bush made about himself during his 2002 re-election campaign.
Referring to the constitutional amendment on public school class sizes, which he opposed, Bush told a crowd at a campaign event – apparently not realizing there was a reporter in the room -- that he had a "devious plan" to deal with the issue.

So he would not have told the truth if he knew any one was listening.

Crist's Wheel of Politics

Please phrase your Answer in the form of an statement. For a large Donation .

Sen. John Ensign " What I had to pay for to get"

Having an extramarital affair with a member of his campaign staff - the wife of a male employee in his Senate office - and that the woman's 18 year old son was hired by the NRSC to do research policy consulting, and that the affair was known to other family values Republicans in Washington .

Allegedly paid the woman a $25,000 severance when she left his employment -- a possible violation of campaign law.

If that isn't enough, today we found out that Ensign funnelled $96,000 to his mistress, her husband and their children through his own parents!

Furthermore, Doug Hampton says Ensign's housemates at a Christian fellowship home in Washington -- fellow Republican legislators including Tom Coburn (R, OK) -- were the ones urging Ensign to break off the affair and hush it up. Open Letter

Completely self-centered and only thinking of myself. I used you for my own pleasure.

God never intended for us to do this. I walked away from Him and my relationship .

Not to mention the voters of course one could view that as retreating in another direction.

Defender of Marriage--Except His Own

A born-again Christian, Ensign has been a member of the Promise Keepers, a male evangelical group that promotes marital fidelity

It's apparently not working
Governor Palin "what I say I am"

She fancies herself a modern-day Douglas MacArthur, tapping his "We are not retreating.

We are advancing in another direction" line to help put a public relations spin on her give-back of the governor's seat. John McCain's vice presidential running mate added she's seeking a "higher calling" to unite the nation along conservative lines because it's "about country."

That's like Governor Jindal wants his state to leave our nation and higher calling is an new way of saying higher status and more money . Wapped in the robe of religion.
Of course one can not forget Huckabee who just thought we should trash our Constitution and draft new one it would be cheaper.
Which like Crist's donations may not have been at church function but in question just the same.
Does the term war profiteer ring a bell?

Just an little back ground

Gothard has as one of his front groups a program called "Cities of Character"--this being a program where city governments dedicate themselves to running their towns under Gothardite principles (including the use of the Character Counts! curriculum in public schools, a very lightly stripped version of the "Basic Course" taught in Gothard seminars).

Some very good exposes of this program include the Talk to Action article "Developing Dominionist Cities" and especially Silja Tavli's Cult of Character. (Huckabee, of note, also attempted to push this program throughout the whole of the state of Arkansas.)

One of the earlier "scores" for Gothard was in 2000, when the city of Cincinnati, OH passed a formal resolution declaring itself a "City of Character"--an officially Gothardite Town. (Cincy was also a focus of "Cult of Character"; the Queen City, along with OKC, were pretty much the "demonstration cities" for Gothard's programs.)

Part of the resolution showed how Gothardite training would become mandatory for law enforcement,""Police Dynamics Institute" One might want to research Ray Nash.

Fire departments, and public schools"character Fitrst" programs and other promotions of Gothard's would be done on TV and in the business world: Sold on E-bay.

Concerns were in part sparked by a letter from Midwest Outreach to the Conference of Character Cities concerning whether city governments may be getting kickbacks from Gothard for their "Character First!" programs, and requesting a full list of cities that may have received donations in that regard.

(Midwest Outreach is a mainstream Christian group fighting coercive groups, including coercive neopente organisations; Midwest Outreach also has one of the more detailed exposes available of the actual content of Gothard training materials.)

Was also in Alaska and currently in Fl.

Mission statement

‘Secular’ Character Training Institute is working to build evangelist Bill Gothard’s vision of a First-Century Kingdom of God—one city, one state, one school board, one police force and one mind at a time.

Palin's Final Insult

So much for trying to save the state on needless cost on ethic complaints on her.

Governor Sandford " What I have not been"

Sanford says he's been having an affair with a woman from Argentina and will resign as head of the Republican Governors' Association.

The married father of four emotionally apologized to his wife, staff and others at a news conference after returning Wednesday from a trip to Argentina that followed a days long absence.

His staff had said the Republican was hiking on the Appalachian Trail.

Sanford says, "I've let down a lot of people."

Late tonight, emails have surfaced between Governor Sanford and his alleged mistress 'Maria' in Argentia. CLICK HERE FOR EMAIL TRANSCRIPTS

It was revealed that his marriage counselor had accompanied him on a trip to NY where he had a liaison with his mistress (apparently approved by said counselor?

His mention of C Street as the source of the counseling (it didn't ring a bell), and now with Ensign’s connection to the group it’s getting some press again.

It’s not really bad couples counseling that we need to worry about – it’s the mission, world view .

Mark Sanford, himself a visitor and a kind of honorary alumni at C Street, compared his political difficulties involving his affair with an Argentine woman to those of biblical King David .
Now joined in his troubles by another C Street member, John Ensign.
The group literally has locked down their records to even prevent their own from looking into the archives and discovering potential skunkworks;
"The Family" locked things down in part to prevent anyone from confirming Sharlet's research--or doing research on their own.

Our question is--just what has Sharlet written that has "The Family" so panicked as to put restrictions on their own archives akin to what the US government uses for information they want to keep even more restricted than "top secret"?
Why hide the info even from their own membership?

The list of information that is now inaccessible includes many of the audio reels of the National Prayer Breakfast, as well as--interestingly (and possibly one reason the archives were sealed) the records regarding the sale of the apartment complex "The Family" rented out for its "member" elite:
One other note worth term:
The group's approach to religion, Sharlet says, is based on "a sort of trickle-down fundamentalism," which holds that the wealthy and powerful, if they "can get their hearts right with God ... will dispense blessings to those underneath them."
Trickle-down Economics Hummm where I heard that before??
Governor Crist " What I will never will be"

But to understand that with Mr. Crist, is always looking to the next job.

He's given up each of his statewide posts — education commissioner, attorney general and now, governor — after just one term to seek higher office.

Which is strangely the path Governor Palin's on.

Charlie Crist raises $4.3 mil for Senate race

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist announced his plans to run for the U.S. Senate on May 12. Fifty days later, Crist has amassed a campaign war chest of $4.3 million -- or, as the campaign put it, $86,000 per day.

I've noticed Charlie Crist seems focused on his ability to raise money.

To bad he was not ably to do the same to fix even an few of the issues in Fl. Such as the flooding problem , high property taxes , No funds for the public schools through out the state as well as paying teachers salaries.

Over crowded prisons besides shipping inmates out of the state where the voters still pay as well as cost to get them there . His abilities appears to be in showmanship and talk.

I mean just think about it.This is being used as way to gage the mark of a Leader and Achiever $86,000 a day was used to fix the issues the voters of Fl.would fight to vote for him.

But this is not the case. And not surprise enough even donations of the past collected are in question.

Sarah Palin called Charlie Crist

Among the GOP leaders Sarah Palin called before announcing her resignation as Alaska governor? Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, someone who apparently can relate to her lack of interest in serving a second term as chief executive. ABC:

"GOV: Telephone Call Into Governor Crist," reads a May 4 entry in Palin's schedule. A spokeswoman for Crist said she did not know who had initiated contact, or what the subject of conversation was to have been, but the two did not speak.

"It was a courtesy call. They know each other, both being governors," said Crist spokeswoman Erin Isaac.

Crist may have had his own reasons to chat with Palin: to promote his candidacy for U.S. Senate, which Crist launched one week after Palin's phone call.

Maybe to ask if Fl. inmates can be sent there.

Nine days later, Crist announced an endorsement by Sen. John McCain, Palin's 2008 GOP ticket-topper.

Charlie Crist says more sun will shine on his campaign cash

How much do you plan to raise in the Senate campaign?

Crist: “I don’t know. You know, it’s a race that really is about people and about public service and trying to work hard for my fellow Floridians every day.

How is raising vast amounts of money helping the voters such as flood with every storm?

And just what public service?' You ,mean the vast signing of bills for photo op hopefully on the way out the door.

When is agenda shows very few hours.

Gov. Charlie Crist's schedule shows many blank days

That’s what really matters, and understanding that the economy’s tough and that we need to help the people and we want to make sure that our children have a great education.”

Promised our kids schools would not lose funding

Thats why his go out of state I suppose?

Former U.S. Rep. Chip Pickering, What my wife is suing my alleged mistress for .
"alienation of affection."
A few weeks ago I wrote about the strange involvement of the highly secretive evangelical "leadership" group "The Family" in the adultery sagas of both John Ensign (who lived at The Family's C Street townhouse on Capitol Hill and negotiated with the wife of his mistress there) and Mark Sanford (who apparently was counseled on his marital and extra-marital issues at the same place).

Today's news brings the revelation of another adultery scandal involving a Republican pol who was very close to The Family: former U.S. Rep. Chip Pickering, once a big-time rising star on the Right, whose estranged wife is suing his alleged mistress for "alienation of affection.
" Her complaint in court claims that the affair was in full bloom while Pickering was living at "the well-known C Street Complex."

I don't know what's more notable here: the high prevalence of marital infidelity among the hard-core adherents of this quasi-theocratic group, or the fact that the publicity must be driving its leaders completely crazy.
In any event, the "C Street Complex" is beginning to appear as something of a house of questionable repute.
And I'am running out of room in my cartoon.
Maybe ishould have named the artical All in the Family
